Technical Support's scope of service varies depending on the product or service in question. Searching our Help Center provides resources that describe what services we may provide, depending on your issue. You can also see our Common Issues and Solutions article that serves as a starting point for addressing common questions and issues you may encounter as a student or applicant at GCU.
The methods that we provide technical assistance include email, live chat, Facebook, X (Formerly known as Twitter), and telephone. Our hours of operation for phone, email, live chat, and social media are:
Weekdays: 6:00 AM - Midnight AZ Time
Weekends: 7:00 AM - Midnight AZ Time
You can submit a technical support request by clicking the Email Uscard at the bottom of the articles.
Clicking on Submit a Requestat the bottom of the article allows you to fill out a support form to provide additional information and reach out to us through email.

If you're on campus, feel free to stop by our IT Bar, a.k.a. the Nerd Herd, located on the 2nd floor of the Student Union.
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Technical Support does not have staff at the IT Bar during the summer semester. To view Staff IT Support’s summer hours at the IT Bar, refer to When to Contact Our Staff IT Support Team .
NOTETechnical Support is closed for the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year’s Day
We will resume normal operating hours the following day.
Sometimes you may need to contact someone other than Technical Support. Here is a list of different resources and their contact information. If the department or individual you are trying to reach is not available in the list below, we recommend contacting the GCU Mainline so they can transfer you accordingly. Most resources below operate from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on weekdays but hours will vary based on staff availability, seasonal demand, and holiday breaks.
