Configure network policies for Snowflake transfers

This guide shows you how to configure network policies to allow the Snowflake connector to connect to your account.

Configure network policies

To add an IP address to an allowlist, do the following:

Create a network rule with type = IPV4 . The BigQuery Data Transfer Service uses a JDBC connection to connect to the Snowflake account.
Create a network policy with the network rule that you created earlier and the IP address from the following table.

IP addresses for public transfers

The following table is a list of IP addresses for the regional and multi-regional locations used for public transfers. You can either add the IP addresses that only correspond to your dataset's location, or you can add all the IP addresses listed in the table. These are IP addresses reserved by Google for BigQuery Data Transfer Service data transfers.
