Add your payment method for AdSense for YouTube

This article is for creators in the YouTube Partner Program who want to set up their form of payment.

If you’re a viewer and have an issue buying a membership or other digital good on YouTube, you can contact support for help .

When your earnings reach the payment method selection threshold , you can choose how you want to get your money. Depending on your payment address, the following forms of payment may be available to you:

You can view your Paymentspage in AdSense for YouTube to find out if your earnings reached the payment method selection threshold.

Set up your form of payment

Sign in to your AdSense for YouTube account.
Click Payments Payments info Add payment method.
In the "Add a payment method" section, enter your info.
If you want this to be your primary form of payment, check the box next to Set as primary payment method.
Click Save.

FAQs

Are there other forms of payment available?

If a form of payment is not shown on your "Add payment method" page, then it's not available in your country. We’ll let you know if a new form of payment becomes available for your country.

Can I change my payment currency?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to change your payment currency.

Can I get payments by bank transfer if my bank is located in a different country from the address in my payments settings?

No. Your bank (or branch) must be located in the same country or region as the address in your payments settings. If it's not located in the same country or region, then your SWIFT code won't be accepted when entering your new form of payment details.

EEA Based Creators:You can sign up for the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) payment option if it's available in your country. Learn more about receiving payments by SEPA .

Do I need to verify my bank account with a test deposit if I want to receive payments by wire transfer?

No, you don’t need to verify your account for wire transfers. Learn more about receiving payments by wire transfer .

How do I add PayPal Hyperwallet as a payment method?

Once you add Hyperwallet as your payment method in AdSense for YouTube, you’ll need to activate your new Hyperwallet account to get paid. Hyperwallet will send an email with an activation link to the email address you provided. Make sure to click the link and follow the instructions to activate your account.

Note:

You must create a new PayPal Hyperwallet account when you set up this payment method. You can’t use an existing Hyperwallet account.
Make sure to copy and save your Payee ID during the setup process. You’ll need your ID to activate your Hyperwallet account.
If you earn money from AdSense and YouTube, you’ll need to create different Hyperwallet accounts, although you can use the same email address for both.
Don’t forget to add a transfer method to your PayPal Hyperwallet account to cash out your earnings.
Hyperwallet is only available to US creators at this time.
