Boat Model

Carved ivory model of a boat with openwork ornamentation and polychromed in some parts. The model displays a court scene. It has a lacquered wooden black and red plinth with gilded ornaments in relief and wave representations.
It was made in China during the 18th century. These kind of models are a typical example of the pieces that were made for the European market.
