Boris Becker holds his trophy above his head for the crowd to see, after defeating Kevin Curren in the 1985 Wimbledon finals. With this victory, Becker would become the youngest man to win a singles championship, the first unseeded player, and the first German to win the Wimbledon singles title. By the end of the season, he jumped from No. 65 to No. 6. By the end of his career; he would win Wimbledon three times and win six majors titles overall.
