Church of Saint Stanislaus

This is the Church of St. Stanislaus - the main church of the Dominican Order in Chortkiv. Stanislav Holsky, the most famous owner of Chortkiv, is buried here. The church saved many lives - it had its own defensive walls, behind which the locals hid during the city's sieges. In the beginning of the 20th century, the church was rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style by Jan Sas Zubrzycki.
