Darjeeling Himalayan Railway worker

A coal breaker sits atop the engine and breaks large chunks of coal into a size fit for the furnace. Meanwhile, the loco halts for passengers to enjoy the view of Darjeeling from Batasia loop . The loop was engineered to give traction to the train and was not thought of as a view point by the builders of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
