Enagua

This kinetic wind sculpture is one of the largest building-mounted public artworks in Southern California. Strips of seemless "Kaynemaile" mesh cover a 60-foot high lantern-shaped tower to simulate the wind's effect on billowy skirt fabric.
From the artist: “Enagua” is a Latin–American word for an undergarment of billowy fabric that provides volume; [it is] also, a play on the Spanish words 'En' and 'agua' ['in water'] since the wind over the ocean flows into Runway [Road] and blows over the Kaynemaile seamless mesh.”
