The German hyperinflation reached its peak in October and November 1923. On the 15th of October it was resolved to stop the hyperinflation by issuing a new form of money , the Rentenmark, to the ratio of one Rentenmark to one trillion old Mark. The Rentenmark was in reality a bearer bond.
