L Leg Table

This table is an extraordinary example of the kind of design conceived by the Finnish Alvar Aalto , that meant a revolution and whose influence is still present. Made around 1930, it is a birch plywood wooden piece with the legs slightly bent in the upper part, also called “L Leg”. This is the end result of the author’s research into wood’s curvature that resulted in the famous three-legged stacking stool.
