Lake Bam, in the Centre-Nord region of Burkina Faso , a hundred kilometers from Ouagadougou , is undergoing enormous environmental challenges such as silting, drastic reduction of aquatic life and conflicts of interest. The 28,000 people living from this lake see their livelihoods threatened.
