Loop

The famous Batasia loop , where the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway circles to gain traction before negotiating a steeper climb on its way to Ghum. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway has three loops; the first one is at Chunbati and the second loop also called Agony Point is at Tindharia . Batasia loop is the third and the most famous one mainly due to the breathtaking view of Darjeeling provided by Batasia Hill.
