The maze

Planted with hornbeam, it symbolises man's path on earth. Of Christian inspiration, and unlike the Greek labyrinth, it has no dead ends. The aim of the visitor is not therefore to find an exit, but to raise himself humanly and spiritually by reaching the hut in the centre.
