Auto Invert!

Works well for what it's designed for, However, it slows down all websites I visit, regardless of whether I use the color inversion or not as long as the extension is active. That's a big downside that I cannot tolerate.

Took a few tries to learn to refresh the page but it works!

This extension should simply invert the colors of the page you are visiting, if you want to invert them. Unfortunately, it also does something completely unacceptable: it creates a semi-transparent black obfuscator over the entire page until it is fully loaded, making navigation essentially impossible because you get continuous flashes that are very disturbing to the view. Too bad, really unusable.

It randomly turns off and I don't know why. This happens while I am using my huion tablet, so maybe there is some further testing that needs to be done. It also does not invert everything in the page, for example, when viewing a pdf in the browser it does not work. The plugin does not indicate if it is active or not, instead it indicates if the background of the page is dark or light, this is much less helpful than knowing if the plugin is "active"/"on."

Worked like a charm! Although Chrome is recommending me to delete it because it needs the devs to "publish their privacy practices" :c please fix!

I should have known of this extension many years ago ( if it existed ) - I don't know. But so far, auto invert provides a feature many sites including chrome web store lack - a dark theme setting to match the users system setting. I appreciate your effort.

While the extension does work - it is far too aggressive at enabling itself all the time on new sites, and makes them look terrible. So I can't just leave it dormant until I need it and then turn it on. Sadly I will have to keep looking for an extension!

It have to be enabled manually for every new website (by domain name). Just initially it inverts in any case the website during the loading time. Maybe it's a bug, but never happens to me on different devices.

i really like this extension
