AutoPause

Can somebody help me, I can't understand why it's not working for me, it's gray, which means it's not working in current tabs, I want to use this with spotify and youtube to auto-pause/play. Even when i enter <all_urls> and give permission access in popup, it's still not working. Can somebody explain me how to even use this extension, like a guide to use this?

When permission is granted for `all_urls`, the expected behavior is that it will pause media when you play something in a different tab. What extension settings are used and does `chrome://extensions` show any errors? Also when clicking on "Details" it should show if the extension has permission for all sites.

My maaaaaaaan, this is awesome. It Just Works. Put on the webpage you want to play in the background in the options, enter and voila. Thank you for the amazing work. If you could choose the tab in the extension from the ones you already have open, that would be a game changer — but still very useful nonetheless.

There's a shortcut to "Set tab to play when nothing else is" by default it's Alt+O otherwise might be able to add the feature ideally via https://github.com/NDevTK/AutoPause/issues

It doesn't work. The extension just appears grey and it doesn't work anymore

It appears gray when not in use, Right click the extension icon then click on Options. You can now choose where the extension is used or allow it for <all_urls> make sure to press enter to confirm permission changes.

edit: I had www.x.com and after reading your reply I deleted "www," and it worked! Thank you for the quick help and for making this extension!! _____ Does this work on spotify and twitter web? It doesn't seem like it :(

It works on https://x.com/*, https://open.spotify.com/* should also work although its behind a login. In order to help here when doesn't it work (playing, pausing, permission entry).

What's not working? The extension should treat tabs the same regardless of what window there in. Did you want an option to not automatically pause media in active windows? (Added in version 2.8.5)
