Bionic Reading

Absolute trash. My assumption was, that the extension modifies Text-Content (HTML/CSS) so that every text on webpages is displayed in the BionicReading-way. That is far from reality. You have to click the extension manually on a website, then a grey dirty overlay pops up, then the page is rendered into a "reading view" where the BionicReading format is applied. But that "reading view" is broken beyong repair. Images are broken and greyscaled, the format is different than the original page, so... Show more

Clicked the puzzle piece, waited for something to happen but nothing does.

parses well but doesn't work on pdf documents or google docs properly; you'd have to highlight the entire text on the doc and click on the extension; but even then it doesn't detect separate paragraphs so the text is formatted on one huge paragraph.

For those who say it's not working: click on the puzzle piece icon on the top right of the window, this will list your extensions, then click on "Bionic Reading", you will see the page load for a moment before it turns bionic! You must repeat this process for every page you want to turn bionic For everyone who sees this, leave a five star rating with the same instructions above so the ratings can stop tanking on such a wonderful tool :)

It doesn't work mate

It can be buggy and doesn't always work, but it helps me fly through articles. I cannot overstate how great this product is for someone like me: a slow reader with the desire to read a whole lot. Thankful that this exists!

I feel like people don't understand that you have to click on the little extension icon AND refresh the page each time to get the extension to work... I have very severe ADHD and it instantly converted an insufferable newspaper site into a readable, understandable one real quick. You can even toggle the font size and/or colors in the options. Developers, please: explain to your users how to work this gadget. Otherwise the review will continue to drop. :( Also, please consider making an option... Show more
