Bookmark Topper

Many thanks! This extension worked immediately and easily. I wish I had come across this sooner. Up until now I would have to use this workaround to avoid new folders going to the end of the line: I would create a folder within a folder which was readily visible towards the front of the bookmarks bar. Then I would move that new folder.

Doesn't work, still have to manually move bookmarks. Deserves zero stars.

Works fine for me and others. You probably disabled movement by clicking the extension action icon or selected never after changing folders in settings.

Wonderful extension that's still working in 2024 to add bookmarks to the top of any bookmark folder automatically when press the bookmark this tab "STAR" button. I hope that the developer updates it before it gets discarded from Chrome Webstore.

I have used it for a while and it is amazing. However, recently, Chrome disabled this extension and suggested me to remove it, because " This extension hasn't published privacy practices, such as how it collects and uses data" . Could the author kindly check and update your privacy policy with Google? Thank you for this amazing product.

This is a very useful extension, but has some issues. A big plus is that the code is very simple: if you unpack the crx, the key js file is only 22 lines. It works fine with chrome 98 as of Feb 2022. However, there are two major problems that I've found: 0) The option could be better explained. The bookmark handling can now be easily toggled using the extension action icon, and automatic disabling during bookmark imports has been added.

Didn't work. First, it got stuck on the options page. Then when I tried to run it, I got a 404 error from Google.

Great small app. It's 2019 and this app is still working. Great Job. I would suggest the dev to ask google to merge his code into Chrome browser development code itself. This is a must have not only in Chrome but in any browser.
