Playlists failing to load complete (random)

I really enjoy your app. More recently I've been experiencing a random issue where it loads just a short list of older videos and nothing current or the list will just be two or three channel sources and nothing else. I can hit the "play" icon on the list folder and it will then load another random list of channels. I've tried logging in/out. Sometimes the loading spinning icon will only run for a short amount of time instead of what would be closer to normal behavior. And a other times everything is perfectly fine. Do you have any suggestions for how to reset and/or force it to load the most current lists from all the channels in a folder when this happens?

Can you support more than 200 playlists?

First, I want to say THANKS for a great extension! It's got quite a few helpful features that improve the experience and save time. I really appreciate the effort you've put into this extension.

Now, when it comes to managing my YouTube playlists, there is one particular problem I've encountered again and again, and it's become something of an annoyance each time I encounter it. When I'm watching a vide and I'd like to add it to one my playlists, I click the "Save" button (w/ bookmark icon) and I'm presented with a list of my playlists. The problem is that I have over 200 playlists, but YouTube only shows the first (or perhaps the most recently used) 200 of those playlists to me. So anything outside of the set of 200 playlists that it has selected are effectively inaccessible for me to add any new videos to. This is the behavior even without the use of The PocketTube Playlist Manager. (So it's definitely not a problem with your extension.)

So my question is this: Do you know whether the 200 playlists thing is a limitation in the API that YouTube uses for fetching the list of playlists? If the API endpoint isn't strictly limiting the number of playlists returned, then might there be a way to circumvent this limitation when using your Youtube Playlist Manager extension? If so, then might you consider adding such a feature? I realize that most people wouldn't use it (because they don't have > 200 playlists), but I'd quite appreciate this enhancement and would get some good mileage from it!

BTW, I also quite appreciate the feature to filter the list of playlists in the "Save to..." dialog box. Presumably if you were to be able to retrieve all playlists that a user has, then this filter feature would still continue working just the same. Thanks again for developing/supporting this extension!

Playlist feature not working

Hi,

I'd like to report that the playlist feature of this extension appears to be broken. The lists remain "hidden" behind the playlists button as per default rather than being expandable.

I noticed this problem today. Prior to submitting this ticket, I tested to see if it was an extension conflict by disabling all of my extensions (including UBlock Origin!) and testing the site; this had no effect. I haven't been able to test on a separate machine yet. My device runs Windows 11 and I am running the extension on Chrome, Version 143.0.7499.41 (Official Build) (64-bit).

I have a suspicion that this might be because YouTube seems to have swapped the positions of "Subscriptions" and "You" in the sidebar, but don't know enough about web design to do more than hazard the guess.

I can send screenshots of what it currently looks like if it would help. I unfortunately do not have a "before" photo as I didn't exactly see this coming.

Let me know if there's any other detail I can provide. Thank you for your prompt attention, and for the app -- it's been very helpful for me.

All List Folders Have Disappeared From Left Sidebar In Chrome

I LOVE your plug-in / extension for Chrome, but today the YT menu sidebar is now suddenly changed, and none of my many pocket folders are visible.
If I go to SAVE (to list) while watching a video the feature is still there, but where there's now no way to find the catergory folder.
Also, the basic YT menu item 'History' (my watch history) has also vanished.

Any Advice? BTW I've got a premium YT sub, and have come to depend on your app I love so much. Help!

PocketTube – Groups Empty Again

all playlists as a list.

Hi. I like your design very much. can you change one detail? to have a drop-down list of all playlists, i.e. as it used to be “show more” and all playlists would appear as a list in the left corner. it would be much more convenient.

you can not change your whole creation, but just add an arrow or a button “show more” to open all playlists as a list in the left menu.
