Group Names replaced by Gray Boxes

Hello,
I think this is similar to the issue reported by Dong Cai. As of about 2 weeks ago, the tab groups no longer display the name of the group, but instead show a dark gray box. If I click on the box (to minimize/hide and then unhide the group) the name appears again, but it doesn't persist - the next time I open Chrome, it's a gray box again.

I'm running Chrome Version 145.0.7632.160 (Official Build) (arm64).

Is there any chance this could be fixed?

Reopening tabs in the same location

I've been using your extension for a few years and love it. A long while back I noticed when I would close a tab inside a group and then use the "Reopen closed tab" option in Chrome, the tab would no longer reopen in it's original location and would instead open as the last tab of the group. Am I misremembering and this was always the behavior, or did this change at some point? Would it be possible to have the tab reopen in its original location like it does if I reopen a tab outside of a group?

Group icons busted

Hi Florian, I really appreciate this extension. It's really helpful to declutter and organize my tabs. Lately I notice that the group tab icons on the bookmark bar become gray boxes. I am not sure it's a bug caused by Chrome update. My Chrome version is Version 145.0.7632.111 (arm64) . Thanks

Not grouping anymore

Instead of the page opening within a group, each page is opening in a separate, unnamed group. Everything was fine yesterday, but today it stopped grouping. My device is a MacOS, and I am using Chrome. When I click on top of the group, it gets back it's name.

Set the favicon for tabs in a group

This extension is a huge lifesaver! It would be super helpful if in addition to being able to set the color for the tab grouping, we could also change the favicon or something about the individual tabs to visually separate them. I had this feature with the Chrome extension I used before--you could change the favicon to a circle with the color assigned to the grouping--so it should be possible.

I get numerous duplicates of groups pinned to my bookmark bar

the groups from this extension are awesome! I Love them. The only thing i don't like is the groups that are pinned to the bookmark bar take up ~35% of the width of my bookmark bar, and most are duplicated. I only have 5-7 groups but i have over a hundred pinned groups. I can manually delete them, but they come back every time I either user a group or close one, ( not exactly sure. )

how do I disable them?

More colours please!

I'm a huge fan and evangelist of this extension! I have got a few colleagues using it and would genuinely have far less productive days without it.However..... I'd love to see you add more colours for groups. Once you hit 10 groups, you're reusing colours.

How to group by range of IP?

Hello, I'm struggling to group tabs by an IP pattern.
I run a home-lab which has various VMs on it. All of them are assigned with IPs from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254.
I don't want to manually add each IP each time I access one of them.
I already tried something like "192.168.1." or "192.168.1.*" but nothing works.

Is it possible to achieve this?

Now that Firefox has official tab group support will you port the extension ? That would be amazing.

For those having issues with the bookmark bar

I came here to see if this was already talked about and it looks like it is. For now, my "solution" is to right click the bookmark bar and not show tab groups (this is unsatisfying as they're still being saved under the hood).

My suggestion to the developer of this awesome extension: This might be mitigated quite a bit if the tab groups were merged. Every few days I find myself with a dozen youtube, reddit, and github tab groups. If there were just one of each, that would be ideal. Not sure if such a thing is possible but I'm going to hope. :)
