Great extension but can you please add the following to the options..... 1. A number showing the active downloading files on the icon, this makes it easier to see how many files are actively still downloading as the animation doesn't always work.... 2. A notification option for when a download starts and when a download finishes in the notifications on windows. But I guess the priority would be my (option 1) as this would be the same as knowing when a download has started and ended by seein... Show more

Good extension, but it would be better to be able to resize the extension window to show more downloads (longer list), instead of scroll and display the number of actively downloaded files in the icon.

Have been using it for years and clicking the icon doesn't do anything anymore, reinstalling doesn't help. The error (using the steps that you suggested) is: ... "background": { "service_worker": "js/background.js" }, ... It says "Service worker registration failed. Status code: 2" (and 14 when I clicked it again) and "js/background.js" is highlighted. (There is more code before and after, but nothing else appears highlighted.

Was using it since years but the last update broke it. Now, nothing happens when i click on the icon. reinstalling didn't help edit: for thoses who got problems since the last update to manifers V3. You need to "site settings" in the management of the addon and then "reset permission"

Thank you for your feedback. Can you let me know your Chrome version and what errors you're getting? These are the steps: 1. Open Chrome. 2. Go to: chrome://extensions/ 3. Enable "Developer mode" (toggle at the top right). 4. Find the extension → Click "Details". 5. Turn on "Collect errors". 6. Click on the downloads icon in Chrome toolbar. 7. Go back to: chrome://extensions/ and find the extension. 8. It will show the errors. EDIT: The issues have been resolved. Also make sure to use the latest Chrome version.

Great extension, have been using it for years and always liked it. But it stopped working a couple of weeks ago; now when I click on the extension menu icon, it doesn't render a dropdown menu with recent downloads. Hopefully author will uprevise it soon, it would be great if it would continue working. Many thanks in advance

Definitely the best Download manager since the original one got banned, but unfortunately; the extension has stopped working and won't open the GUI anymore to see download history. I click on it and it just sits there highlighted but does nothing.

Thank you for your feedback. The extension was recently migrated to manifest v3. Please try removing and reinstalling the extension to see if that helps.

Good and useful and has a dark mode, but unfortunately doesn't show the file date for the completed downloads (yet). Also only shows the last 10 downloads; after that after clicking on "Show more" it just opens the download tab instead of enhancing the download list.

Thank you for your review. The file/download date will be available in the next version. Starting from version 4.0.0, you will see all downloaded items.

This is what downloads should have been in Chrome.

I really dig this extension and its functionality; if you liked the download process in Safari, this replicates it nicely. Never liked that bottom download tray in Chrome. Lately, though, a download window is appearing and requiring clicking on download to get the file to download. The download used to just happen automatically; what changed? Is this a setting that be reverted to its original function?
