No Bookmarklets

Bookmarklet still runs despite installing this extension (personal macbook)

Hi there, I downloaded this chrome extension on my personal macbook chrome browser to block/remove an old proxy bookmarlet. I had installed/added a proxy bookmarklet to my bookmarks bar during university that was made by the university library, which automatically inserts a prefix to the links to academic article that redirects the site to the university's log-in page for access to the article. I've since left the university and deleted the bookmarklet from my bookmarks bar, but it still automatically runs when I try to open links to academic articles. I've installed your No Bookmarklets extension to my chrome browser, which does successfully block new bookmarklets from being installed, but the existing issue with my previously-installed bookmarklet still occurs. I was wondering if you had any insight as to why this might be the case? Thank you!
