Chrome extension installed on Mac but wont change from purple to orange icon

I have installed the browser extension on a Mac on Google Chrome but it keeps asking if it's me and won't change to an orange icon

It's impossible to get out

I have a Premium subscription and I really didn't like the product (I can help you with feedback if needed), so I want to cancel it. However, I can't find anywhere to do that. Please help! I can't find my profile and payment method. It's a very counter intuitive design of this software. I'm sorry to say because I really wanted it to be good.

Adding a Trusted Connection takes ages!

Getting access to the "I know this person" tab

I am trying to add people but I cant scroll down to the "I know this person tab". This just means I wont add to my network and as you know...launching a new app is the easy part. The biggest challenge is getting people to come back and use it.

I have added a LinkedIn connection as a trusted connection- now what? How is this any different than asking for a referral on LinkedIn?
