F.Block Sponsored

Works great on both Chrome and Brave. Bonus: this also blocks all the sponsored / ad garbage on Pinterest, too. It has made my web browsing experience SO much better.

I think this extension need updated. Sponsored in facebook now can not be removed anymore while suggested still can

it's usually pretty good, but a lot of ads and spam posts still tend to get through every couple of days. since it doesnt paywall features whereas every other option i can find does, i cant really rate it too poorly.

Excellent extension! Now I see what I *WANT* to see, not what they want me to see (over 100 unrelated posts in a row sometimes). Working fine as of 22 June 2025.

I just installed this, cleared my Chrome browsing data, and hopped on FB. I can't believe it actually works. The amount of 'Sponsored Ads' on Facebook was getting absolutely ridiculous. I'm talking like every other post, sometimes even 3 or 4 posts in a row were 'Sponsored Ads'. I hope this extension stays updated and keeps doing what it's doing because I was seriously thinking of abandoning FB.

Unfortunately this no longer works - was great for weeks but now I'm getting up to 4 in a row of annoying sponsored rubbish. Removing it, what a shame.

Useless on Chrome desktop now.
