How are you creating a pop up on my browser when I don't have your extension installed?

I've never installed your extension yet I keep getting your pop ups advertising your extension on my browser. This is intrusive and unauthorized. I've never gave you permission. How is this legal for you guys to advertise on my browser without my permission or knowledge of consent? Additionally, how do I stop this intrusion?
