Feature Request: Add Dials to Folders via Right-Click Menu

Hi, thanks again for YASD!

It would be very convenient to have an option to add dials directly into a chosen folder via the right-click context menu.

This would simplify organizing bookmarks without needing to move them manually afterwards.

Is this something that could be implemented?

Feature Request: Multilevel Folders

Hello,

First of all, thank you for developing YASD — it’s a very useful extension!

I’ve recently switched from Fast Dial, which had a feature I found extremely helpful: multilevel folders. This allowed organizing bookmarks in a more structured way.

I would love to see something similar in YASD.

Idea / Possible Approach:
If it were possible to generate a link to a YASD folder, users could place that link inside another folder. In this way, it would be possible to build multilevel folder structures.

Here’s an example:
We have two folders: Folder1 and Folder2.
Folder1 contains: Site1, Site2, and Folder2.

This would greatly improve organization for users with many bookmarks.

Question:
Is there already a way to obtain a link to a folder in YASD, or would this require a new feature?

is YASD broken?

Today for some unknown reason YASD stopped working.
In extension manager it was showing me an information "This extension is corrupted" (or something like that).. so I clicked the "Repair" button, it asked for permissions again.. I approved, but extension has not been repaired, but removed from my browser.
Now when I try to install it again, I get an error "Download error: Download interrupted". I'm using Brave browser, can this be the cause? I've also tried restarting browser, but that also didn't help.

Column Number Keeps Changing

I have been using YASD for a while now in Chrome (PC, Windows 10 Pro) and I love it. Thanks for a fine product.
I've always had 7 columns displayed, but it has suddenly changed to 8. I can easily click the "Settings" icon and change it back to 7 columns, and it does. But if I open another YASD tab it reverts back to 8 columns. I have not added any extensions to Chrome.
In "Settings", I have the following:
Dial Format: Wide
Dial Size: Small
Max Columns: 7

There are 8 columns, and when I open Settings it says "7". If I click on it and choose "7", nothing happens. But it I change it to "8", and then back to "7", it changes the displayed columns back to 7.

I have tried turning off all extensions except for YASD, but this doesn't help. I have Chrome set to auto-upgrade, so that might have caused it. And I auto-update Windows, too. Not sure if either of these would cause this behavior. Hoping you might have some suggestions, since I'm very used to the way my icons are arranged with 7 columns. Thanks.

Is Google going to drop Speed Dial?

Hello, I am seeing that Goggle might drop Speed dial? Is this so?
What needs to be done to stop this? I have searched and for my needs this is the best on the market.

Dial customization!

I like this extension, it's simple and lightweight. Though I find when adding my sites I get a very inconsistent set of dials visually. Some have backgrounds, other not. Some backgrounds have a colour, others not. Some have just a logo with no text.

If there were an option to enable / disable the background box and then a further option to set the colour of that box it would allow me to create something far more intune visually.
