Ext icon DISAPPEARS on YouTube - Brave

I've had Brave for 6 years (since Firefox sold out & began censoring my content): Love their adblocker, especially for EweTube & X, but just today, YT started throwing up a banner on my feed page. I've told it "I'm not interested" every. time! So, I came to the webstore to find a "banner blocker" (at least w/firefox I could go in & tell it: Block this page element; no choice on Brave). Yours sounded like the best. Installed it and went to YT, refreshed page: THE EXTENSION ICON DISAPPEARS! I click on a different site: It's there just fine. But not on YT! Which is the only reason I got it! I read that YT was trying different "Adblock Blockers", but it isn't affecting Brave's native adblocker yet.
Any suggestions? I'm going to have to uninstall if there's nothing to be done.
