Does it fully emulate robots?
I am trying to inject <meta name="..."> into my <HEAD>. I do not have access to the main domain, only to "Page Layout Headers" which I can add my own CSS and JavaScript. The vendor we are using shows the page with INDEX; however we don't want it indexed, one way we are trying was to add a safety net was to inject:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW,NOCACHE,NOIMAGEINDEX,NOARCHIVE">
<META NAME="GOOGLEBOT" CONTENT="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW,NOCACHE,NOIMAGEINDEX,NOARCHIVE">
<META NAME="BINGBOT" CONTENT="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW,NOCACHE,NOIMAGEINDEX,NOARCHIVE">
The extension however, appears to show "Success" so I am trying to figure out if this is because the extension is not reading in the injection, or it it is just stopping on the first META NAME it sees (Which would be the vendor's INDEX). Per specification, the more restrictive permission should be honored if there are conflicts, I am checking to see if this extension takes that into account.

Extension causes websites to require re-login when using back button
Hi, I have been experiencing issues that websites like Amazon, and Ahrefs log me out when I use the browser back button while using the logged-in parts of these websites. For example, I'm in my order list on Amazon. I click on one of the products, so I visit the product page. Then I click the back button and I have to log in to Amazon again every time. Using dev console and turning of and on Robots Exclusion Checker extension I have singled out that this extension is causing the issue. Can you please have a look at this issue? Thanks.

Problem with "too many redirects" and being logged out of services
Hi,
Love the extension and use it daily, however I just found out that it's what's been causing an issue I've experienced for a while.
When I am logged into a service like ahrefs or similar I can't use the back button or reload a page that has been inactive for a while. Chrome gives me the error "too many redirects" and when I reload the page I'm forced to login again.
Hope this can be fixed since I'd love to keep using it but can't as it is now.
Best wishes
Alexander

problem updating the robots.txt
Hello, thanks for your plugin. I had a problem updating the robots.txt file; after making changes to the file, they do not appear in the application, and checking becomes pointless.

Display redirect status
Could you please add a redirect status of an URL? If an URL is loaded through a redirect or redirect chain, it would be nice to see all hops. Doing so, you will definitely beat the competitor LinkRedirectTrace :)

Switching off Nofollow link highlighting
A new feature was rolled out to Robots Exclusion Checker switched on by default. In hindsight this wasn't the cleverest idea. Currently all "nofollow", "sponsored" and "ugc" link attributes will be highlighted on-page. To change settings or to disable completely, click on the Robots icon and you'll notice at the very bottom of the status window there is "Link highlighting: ON" and an option to "Change". Once clicked, you have the option to disable "nofollow", "sponsored" and "ugc" individually. Thank you, Sam.
