text box not selected

I currently use Chrome Version 37.0.2062.68 beta on a Mac (Mountain Lion). When I push the button, the logo appears selected instead of the text box. So every time it is necessary to click on the text box to start typing. When I use Chrome on Windows, the text box is selected.I have observed this problem for many months and with different versions of Chrome for Mac.
