Major problem.

The next suspended uses like 50-80% CPU if the page is unsuspended the problem moves to the next suspended window. Memory footprint rises to about 2GB and JavaScript memory start at about 300k and gets higher over time if it is not unsuspended (4GB after 5 hours). ---- "gsTabCheckManager.js:153 Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist." error message keeps repeating in console.

Brave on Gnome 49 Wayland (Arch) >53 tabs crashes the extension

If I have over 53 or so tabs open in a single window when trying to reopen Brave then the extension crashes. The app doesn't crash if there are more than 50 tabs open acrross multiple windows, just if they're in 1 and they were previously suspended tabs.

Constantly requires updating

Every suspended tab tells me to update even after updating

Today I found all my suspended tabs with the message "The Marvellous Suspender is about to get marvellous-er
A new version of The Marvellous Suspender is ready to be installed.
Please note: during the update your suspended tabs will briefly disappear."

Even after clicking 'Update Now" button and refreshing they all still have the same message, and it won't go away.

Can you work on the problem of the app doing non-stop prompt to update

When opened every tab shows a prompt to update the app. This started on 10/13/25 for me. The prompt stays on for just about one second but continues to show the prompt each time a tab is unsuspended. Great app and thanks for your efforts.

Remove console log spam

In dev tools console i see a lot of logs from the extension. Could you please remove console.log from the code?

Works with MV3

They've updated this extension so it now works with MV3, you have to go to this website https://gioxx.org/2025/06/24/the-marvellous-suspender-v3-beta/ and follow the directions to install it atm. I've been testing it myself for the last week and it's been fine like previously.

Chrome disabled this, with latest update. Please address, thanks

The latest update of Chrome, disabled Marvelous suspender (plus a few other extensions).Seems that every dang update by Chrome, messes up my browser, by disabling some extensions.
