Need help enabling microphone for this extension

I've done everything that ChatGTP suggests for how to enable the microphone for my ChatGTP Sidebar Chrome extension and I still can't get it to work. I have a Macbook. Please help.

Everytime I try to use the mic function in the Sidebar it says "Enable mic access to dictate". But I have already:
1. Set Microphone to "Allow" in the Sidebar extension settings
2. Chosen the microphone connected to my computer as the correct input device
3. My Chrome is fully updated
4. Site access is set to "on all sites"

Is there anything I can do to enable dictation with this extension? Thanks.
