The screenshot shows icon, but there is no icon in my page. No settings to edit it either. Enabling google which said to download favicon doesn't do it.

There's a big link in the "Customize" section of the extension's settings. https://github.com/perfect-things/perfect-home-themes. In short: right-click a tile -> edit -> change the icon.
