Doesn't really work anymore
The extension keeps adding newly watched videos to the database, but the visualization doesn't show on YouTube, so i have no way of knowing which videos i have watched, aside from the defective YouTube progress bar.

There seems to be a remake for V3, uploaded today
Not sure if this is on the level, but it seems to be working for me at least. Would love some feedback by the original creator of this addon to check for its legitimacy?

updated for manifest 3
Some guy did the work to update this. You have to sideload it for now, but it works.

Manually side load this extension
For those technically inclined, this is the steps I just had to follow to reload in Chrome after it accidentally got removed.
1) Clone the git repo from sniklaus
2) Install it in FireFox
3) Go into your local FireFox directory, and find the file "yourect@coderect.com.xpi". I don't know if file names differ. If you just installed it, look for the most recent file in the extensions directory.
4) Copy that file somewhere else, and unzip it. (XPI files are just zip files)
5) Copy the files in the "content" directory in the zip file, over to the content directory of where ever you did the git clone. I only replaced the missing files, I did not overwrite what was already present from the git clone.
6) Go into Chrome Extensions, and make sure "Developer Mode" is enabled.
7) Click on "Load Unpacked" and navigate to where ever you did the git clone.
8) Click OK.
It works for me now, although it's saying that there's an error in the manifest file.

Chrome has disabled this
Chrome has disabled this, and any other useful extension I can find that does the same thing. Any chance of an update so that it works again? Please?

Youtube shorts not greyed out anymore
HI, I love the extension for years now. Youtube shorts not greyed out anymore unfortunately. I would love if that could be implemented again.
Thank you in advance :)

Videos marked watched when not watched
Is there some problem now with this extension? Used to work properly all the time. Now, on numerous occasions, I see videos marked watched that I'm pretty sure I didn't watch. Am I the only one? Are there any conflicts that could cause problems with this extension?
