Been using for years and it worked but the color of icon was maddening. Finally the icon fixed but now it hangs regularly and there is a bunch of AI nonsense no one needs or wants and talk of a subscription. Not a chance. Time to move on, this is the end for Pinboard Plus. EDIT down on stars tired of clicking submit and it does nothing.

Regarding the icon reliability issue: We've just implemented a comprehensive fix for the icon hanging problem you mentioned. The issue was related to Chrome's tab update events not always being reliable, which we've now resolved with multiple fallback mechanisms. This should eliminate the icon hanging issues you've encountered. Regarding subscriptions: We understand that not everyone wants AI functionality. The core bookmarking features remain completely free and unchanged. The AI features are optional and can be disabled in the settings. You can continue using Pinboard Plus exactly as you did before, with all the same reliable bookmarking functionality. The free version includes all the original Pinboard Plus features you've been using for years. The subscription is only for the new AI-powered features, which are completely optional. If you are willing to give it another try, the latest version should resolve the icon hanging issues. The core bookmarking experience remains the same reliable tool you have used for years. possibility to change the color would be a plus

Is it possible to set OpenAI language used for description & tags? I would prefer other one than English :)

Great replacement to the official addon or bookmarklet I was using before.

Been using this for a very long time but for some reason in the last months it's super slow, especially in the auto-complete of tags when saving a bookmark. Often I just have to save the bookmark and then go in pinboard to fix the tagging and read/unread state.

I love that this extension turns the pin blue if your on a page you've already saved. Also love that I click the extension icon and it pops the form right up. What I don't like is fairly often (estimate every two weeks) it silently fails to save. You don't find out until you go to save your next one where you see a red bar at the bottom informing you the last one wasn't saved. No support and it's flaky. I am not going to renew

Great extension when it works. But it stopped working. Can no longer log in via the API Token. Just times out with an error, but doesn't say what the error is :(
