Save As Image

This extension works well when saving to .jpg, .png and .webp formats. But when you save to .gif, .bmp and .tiff formats, you'll get .png format files (the saved image is not converted correctly).

I tried using it on Twitter, but it didn’t work. Unfortunately.

Unable to convert on initial download, but converting already downloaded files is simple. Would be nice to be able to do a few at a time.

Your extension no longer appears in right click after I clear my session information. I use Ccleaner to clean my session information from Google Chrome without any issues until your extension. Why does your extension no longer appear after? I have to remove your extension and then add it back. It will continue to work until I run ccleaner and clean my session information.

This was one of my favourite extensions for a while - but now it's stopped working! 😿 Every time I restart Chrome, I notice that I no longer get the Save As Image option in my right-click drop-down menu, so I am unable to use it. I've tried turning it off and on again, but that doesn't work. I find it only works again by uninstalling and re-installing the extension, which is annoying and time-consuming when I have to do that every single time I restart Chrome. I started trying "save as png" extensions from the beginning of the Chrome Extensions list. This extension is the ONLY one that tries to save the image with its name instead of "download.png" that all other extensions are doing. HIGHLY recommended if you are saving a lot of images! Having the image name ready for saving is such an time saver! Other comments mention saving the images into a default location without the Save as popup, but sometimes we need to save each image in a different loc... Show more

Works on images that other similar extensions fail. Great work! Thank you! A suggestion for improvement: Directly save the image to the default Chrome downloads location. Currently a "safe as" window pops-up, asking for confirmation for the location.
