It won't keep settings when refreshing page or clicking on another video.

idk why, but this somehow removes the BAD FILTERING thing of youtube, so 5 stars

Its great, when it works. I've been using this for over 6 months now, and at first It worked wonders and became my preferred extension when watching any content that needed to be brightened up, mostly on YouTube.(Just make sure to disable SVG Display Mode). After a while it started having problems, specifically not working at all sometimes. Then it just failed to work, no matter if I decided to enable the filter first and then reload the page. I just stopped working.

Hi Countdown, I'm glad you used my extension. I recently checked it again, and it's indeed no longer working correctly. The Manifest V3 and ES6 updates rendered some of my functions outdated. I've just updated to version v1.0.4, please check it out!

Surprisingly customizable!? Works super well and the amount of features are super cool. Took me a second to get the hang of it since the buttons can definitely be confusing, but once I did it was really helpful.

Clean and functional.

Doesn't work anymore on Udemy videos. A while ago it worked. Please fix. Chrome Version 134.0.6998.178 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi Dmitry Khodorovsky, I think the ES6 and Manifest V3 changes have rendered some of my functions outdated. I just updated the extension to allow for more sensitive video tag recognition. I also tested it on Udemy and it works. Hopefully it works for you too.

i've been really looking for something that would allow me to watch movies late at night and dim/change the screen beyond what it was meant to do, but i can't even get this to work for some reason? I don't know if this is me not knowing how to work this or something else, but i will edit the review if i can get it fixed because if this worked it would be a 5 star. I just can't think of why it wouldn't work, especially when no one else has seemed to have problems with it not even effecting the... Show more

Hi Harriet Finlay, thank you for your interest in my extension. In theory, it should work with all video tags, and you just need to turn on the power button. I've just updated the extension to allow for more sensitive video tag detection. Please check it again, hopefully it works.

First look: features and configurability looks promising. UI is a disaster... ^) (For me.) Especially that fx for mouse click, and settings change by rotating, not moving horizontally or vertially. However this ext deserves 5+ stars -- I found nothing even close by features.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews, but this extension for customizing the display of videos is in a class of its own. I wish Nvidia used the approach for applying filter layers that you provide in this extension. Very impressed. Thank you for such a great tool.
