Method: projects.assets.setIamPolicy

  • This method sets the access control policy on a specified resource, replacing any existing policy.

  • The HTTP request uses a POST method to https://earthengine.googleapis.com/v1alpha/{resource=projects/*/assets/**}:setIamPolicy .

  • The request requires a resource parameter in the path and a request body containing the complete policy object.

  • A successful response body contains an instance of the applied Policy.

  • This operation requires authorization using either the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform OAuth scopes.

Sets the access control policy on the specified resource. Replaces any existing policy.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

REQUIRED: The complete policy to be applied to the resource . The size of the policy is limited to a few 10s of KB. An empty policy is a valid policy but certain Google Cloud services (such as Projects) might reject them.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Policy .

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
