This page provides an overview of how to access and use WeatherNext forecasts in Google Earth Engine. Earth Engine is a platform for petabyte-scale scientific analysis and visualization of geospatial datasets. It is particularly well-suited for:
- Large-scale geospatial analysis:You can perform complex analyses on massive datasets without needing to manage the underlying infrastructure.
- Time-series analysis:You can analyze how weather patterns change over time.
- Visualization:You can create interactive maps and visualizations of weather data.
Available datasets and how to access
WeatherNext provides several state-of-the-art weather forecasting models on Earth Engine. The following are links to the Earth Engine Data Catalog pages:
- WeatherNext 2 Forecasts
- WeatherNext 1: Gen Forecasts (deprecated)
- WeatherNext 1: Graph Forecasts (deprecated)
To access the datasets, you will need to fill out the WeatherNext Data Request form .
