You can manage multiple category mappings at once by uploading a .csv (comma-separated values) file of signals into Google Ad Manager.
- Category mapping works only for the first-party data; remove third-party Audience Segment data from your file before uploading.
- Some sensitive categories aren't supported. If your .csv file includes a mapping with an unsupported category, an error message indicates the value is not valid.
Columns in the .csv file
The values for each column in the .csv file must follow these formatting rules.

- If your entity type is audience segment, use an audience segment ID.
- If your entity type is custom targeting, use the value ID of the key-value pair.
- If your entity type is CMS metadata, use the value ID of the CMS metadata pair.

Category ID
For IAB Content & Audience, use the external category ID defined by the IAB.
For Google structured video, the categoryIds are defined in the structured signals table .

Upload the file
Note that you must remove column headers from the .csv file before you upload it.

Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Navigate to Inventory, then Publisher provided signals.

Under "Tools & settings", in the "Bulk upload mappings" section, click Uploadand then drag a .csv file into the indicated area, or click Browseto go to the file.
