- Click Privacy & messaging.

Create a new message. On the US state regulations message type card:
- Click Createif this is your first US state regulations message.
- Click Manageif you've previously created a US state regulations message. Then, click Create message.
- Select the apps in which this message will be displayed:
- Click Select apps.
- Select the desired apps.
- Click Confirm.
- Select the default language in which this message will be displayed. You can choose from English, Spanish, or Spanish (Latin America/es-419).
- In the "Targeting" section, select one of the following options:

To target all current and future US states with Privacy & messaging support, turn on the "All current and future supported US states" toggle.

To manually select specific states, turn off the "All current and future supported US states" toggle. Then, check or uncheck the state checkboxes to ensure the message only appears in the US states you want.

- In the "Message name" field, enter a descriptive message name that will help you identify the message later. The name is shown only in the Privacy & messaging page and won't be visible to users.
- When you're ready, click Publish. Alternatively, click Save draftto save a draft of the message.
US state regulations settings
To access the US state regulations settings, click Privacy & messaging, and then on the US state regulations message type card.
- The "Review your ad partners" control: Allows you to choose the ad partners (also referred to as "ad technology providers") that you want to use to serve ads to eligible users in the applicable US states.
- Information about how to manage restricted data processing via ad requests: You can restrict data processing at an ad request if you don’t want to restrict data processing across your account.
