Receive SEPA payments

Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) transactions provide an affordable, efficient Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) option across a number of countries in Europe. The SEPA system allows European businesses and consumers to send EFT payments to any country located in the Euro area .

SEPA EFT payments directly deposit your AdMob earnings, in euros, into your bank account to greatly speed up and simplify the payment process. EFT is fast, secure, and environmentally friendly. If SEPA EFT payments are available in your location, we encourage you to sign up.

Test deposits for SEPA payments

To sign up for SEPA EFT payments, you need to provide details about your bank account. Depending on the country where your bank account is located, you may be required to verify your account using a small test deposit.

Note: While SEPA coverage is expanding, not all banks currently support SEPA EFT transactions. Before you sign up, we recommend you check with your bank that you can receive SEPA EFT transactions.

Countries where SEPA payments are available

We support SEPA payments in EUR currency for publishers in these countries:

  • Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Monaco, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovenia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Vatican City.

You can link your SEPA-accessible bank account from any of the following countries:

  • Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Monaco, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Vatican City.
Note We currently don’t provide EUR currency support for Norway and Sweden. You need to use your local currency to receive payments in these countries.

1. Enter your bank account information

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com .
  2. Click  Payments in the sidebar.
  3. In the "How you get paid" section, click Add payment method .
  4. Enter the required bank account information. If you're not sure what information to enter, contact your bank.
  5. Click Save.
Tip: If you enter your bank account information incorrectly, click Removeto delete the incorrect information. You can then re-enter your bank account information.
Note: If you set SEPA EFT as your payment method after the 20th of the month, we can't guarantee that you'll be paid by SEPA EFT that month. For example, if you wanted to ensure payment by SEPA EFT for your March earnings, you'd need to complete the steps above before April 20th.

2. (If required) Find your test deposit and enter the amount in your AdMob account

Find your test deposit

After you enter your bank account information, we'll deposit a small test amount into the bank account you specified. This process takes a few days, so check your bank statements after 2-5 days to find the deposit. The deposit ranges from 0.15 to 1.10 euros. Depending on the country in which your bank is located, the deposit will be labeled as one of the following:

  • Google Inc. EDI PYMNTS
  • Google Inc. EDI - EDI PYMNTS
  • GOOGLE IRELAND
  • GOOGLE IRELAND LIMITED
  • CITIBANK FINANCIAL SERVICES

Enter the test deposit amount

When you have the test deposit amount:

If you don't see this link, our system may not have been updated. Wait a couple of days and check again.
  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com .
  2. Click  Payments in the sidebar.
  3. In the "How you get paid" section, click Add payment method .
  4. Click  Verify test deposit.
  5. In the box provided, enter the test deposit amount that you received in your bank account.
  6. Click Submit. Once you have entered your test deposit amount correctly, your bank account is verified.
  7. Select the newly approved bank account as your default form of payment.

If your test deposit failed

There are a number of reasons why your test deposit might fail:

  • Incorrect bank account number or bank codes (the required information varies by country)
  • Bank account is not set up to receive incoming SEPA transactions
  • Bank account is closed
  • Bank is not located in the same country entered in your AdMob account
  • Your bank code changed as the result of a recent bank merger.

If your test deposit has failed, you'll have a "Deposit failed" message on the page where you submitted your bank account. If you get this message, we encourage you to re-enter your bank information to make sure there wasn't a typo. You may also wish to contact your bank to confirm the exact details that you need to submit and try again.

If you need to update your bank information

Unfortunately, incorrect or unverified bank account information can't be changed from your account at this time. Instead, to provide correct information, you can add a new bank account and then remove the existing bank account.

To protect the privacy and security of your banking information, AdMob Support does not have access to edit or remove the information you've entered.
