Vignette ads are full-screen ads that appear between page loads and can be skipped by users at any time.
- Vignettes are displayed when the user leaves a page or comes back to it, rather than when they arrive on one, so the user doesn’t have to wait for them to load.
- You can decide how often vignette ads are shown to your users by choosing the frequency for your vignette ads .

Triggers
Vignette ads can be triggered when a user:
- Clicks an anchor element
- Unhides a tab/window (for example, when they revisit a tab/window after going to another tab/window, revisit a tab/window after unlocking the device screen, or maximize a window after minimizing it)
- Clicks the browser's navigation bar (desktop only)
Vignettes respect the frequency you set, even if a user triggers multiple actions that can display a vignette.
Users can close vignettes by using the browser back button.
