Google provides translated versions of the Advertising Policies Help Center, though they're not meant to change the content of the policies. The English version is the official language used to enforce Google Ads policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.
Google Ads expects all advertisers to comply with the local laws for any area that their ads target, in addition to its standard Advertising policies. Advertisers are expected to do their own research on the local regulations for any location that their ads target.
Certain locations, industries and trade associations have their own self-regulatory codes for advertising and marketing. You can find a list containing some of these codes here. Advertisers on Google should refer to these codes where relevant.
