Submitting false information as part of our verification is an egregious violation of Google’s policies and will result in your account being suspended. Learn more about the Circumventing systems policy.
Tips for submitting your documents
- Capture the entire document, including all four corners.
- Your image must be readable, in focus, and free of reflections and glare.
- Incomplete or obstructed documents or dark or blurry photos won’t be accepted.
- To prevent abuse, we allow a limited number of verification attempts.
- Uploading photos or documents other than what is requested may result in account suspension.
There was an issue with my task. What does that mean?
This means that Google couldn’t verify your information. This usually happens because there was an issue with the submitted documents. You can resubmit your documents in your Google Ads account. For more details about your issue and how to fix it, refer to the searchable table below.

Re-submit a document with a country that matches your payment profile country from the list of acceptable documents for your country .
As a reminder, you must submit a document that is issued by the payments profile country. However, for European Economic Area (EEA) countries, any ID is accepted if it’s issued by any country that’s part of the EEA.
If the country listed in your payments profile doesn’t match the registration documents, please contact Google Ads support to ask to create a new payments profile with a different country.
