POWER()

Arithmetic exponentiation

Returns  x raised to the power of y  as a Decimal value.

Sample usage

POWER(-2.23, 3) returns  -11.09

POWER(-2.23, 2) returns  4.97

POWER(-2.23, 1) returns  -2.23

POWER(-2.23, 0) returns  1.00

POWER(-2.23, -1) returns  -0.45

POWER(-2.23, -2) returns  0.20

POWER(-2.23, -3) returns  -0.09

Syntax

POWER( x , y )

  • x - Any numeric type.
  • y  - Any numeric type.
