Star messages

To track important conversations in Google Chat, you can star messages. To find starred messages, go to the "Starred" shortcut.

Star or unstar a message

1. On your computer, open Google Chat .
2. Open a conversation.
3. Hover over a message you want to star.
4. Click More Staror Unstar.

Find your starred messages

1. On your computer, open Google Chat .
2. On the left, under “Shortcuts,” click Starred.
