- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top, in the address bar, enter your search.
- Select a result or press Enter.
Tip:As you enter your search, you may get suggestions based on your web and app activity. You can delete suggestions from your search history or hide sections of suggestions based on your activity when they appear. Learn more about your activity .

You can find a specific word or phrase on a web page on your computer.
- On your computer, open a page in Chrome.
- At the top right, select More

- In the search window, enter your search term.
- Press Enterto search the page.
- Matches are highlighted in yellow. In the scrollbar on the right, yellow markers show where the matches are located on the page.

- You can translate to your preferred language or get the definition when you select a word or phrase.
- You can convert units when you select a number.

- To use this feature, set your default search engine to Google .
- To get suggestions based on the page URL, turn on Make searches and browsing better .

When you’re on a webpage, you can ask questions, research products, get help with homework, and quickly find information about the page content directly from the address bar.
To use this feature:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Go to a webpage.
- Click anywhere in the address bar.
- In the search suggestions, you can select Ask Google about this pageor one of the suggested questions.
- If you select “Ask Google about this page,” you can ask questions or search visually through selection.
- To ask a question:At the top right of the screen, in the search box, enter your question.
- To search through selection:Select a region of the page you’d like to search by clicking and dragging.
- If you select “Ask Google about this page,” you can ask questions or search visually through selection.
- You can find the results in the side panel.
Tips:
- If this is your first time to use the feature, you can find a consent to share the page content with Google. To proceed, select OK.
- You won't get this consent if you already accepted this before on other features.
- Suggestions may not appear on sites that require payment.
You can enter detailed queries, switch to AI Mode for advanced search experiences, and access various AI tools directly from the address bar.
Important:
- You must sign into Chrome.
- Some tools are not yet available to all users. This feature is gradually coming to users outside the US, so it might not be available to you yet.
- On your computer, open Chrome.

- On the right of the address bar, select AI Mode

- To hide “AI Mode” and “Add tabs and more” from the address bar, right-click on the address bar, then unselect Always show AI Mode.
