For any image in Google Drawings, Slides, or Vids, you can remove the background.
Remove an image's background
Important:Vids generative AI features, like "help me create" and image background removal, are only available in English at this time
- Click an image in a drawing in Google Drawings , a slide in Google Slides , or a scene’s canvas in Google Vids .
- Click Edit image
Remove background.
- You can also remove the background from the Format menu: At the top, click Format

Tip:Images with removed backgrounds can't be reset with Reset image . To go back to the original photo, click Undoor go to "Version history."
