Unenroll from a class

This article is for students.

When you unenroll from a class:

• The class is removed from Classroom.
• Your class files are stored in Google Drive.

If you unenroll from a class and need to re-enroll, go to  Join a class as a student .

Important:  You will only be able to leave a class if your school admin enables the unenrollment option. 

You can’t unenroll from an archived class. Contact your teacher and ask them to unarchive the class so you can unenroll.

1. Go to classroom.google.com  and click Sign In.

   Sign in with your Google Account. For example,  you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.com .  Learn more .

2. On the class, click More Unenroll.
3. Click Unenrollto confirm.
