This page describes how connectors work, which connectors are available, and the supported connector actions in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition.

How connectors work

Connectors securely link Gemini Enterprise – Business edition to different applications and data sources commonly used by businesses and enterprises. These connectors let you search for information across the connected systems, all from within your workspace.

Gemini Enterprise – Business edition will only access what you specifically authorize. 

Ensure that your connector is configured to allow Gemini Enterprise – Business edition to access any data you wish to connect.

Available connectors

To view and enable the connectors in your Gemini Enterprise – Business edition workspace:

  1. Sign in to  Gemini Enterprise – Business edition  ( business.gemini.google/ ).
  2. Click  Settings & help.
  3. Select your Teamand then select Manage team.
  4. In the  Connectors  view, select the switch next to the desired application to adjust its connection status.

Note: For file upload and download actions for Google and third-party connectors, the maximum supported file size is 50 MB for the  Gemini Enterprise – Business edition

3 The HubSpot data store uses a Google-managed OAuth app. This eliminates the need for manual OAuth app setup and management and lets you quickly and securely integrate HubSpot without handling client credentials. The HubSpot administrator must authorize the connector from the Gemini Enterprise UI before you authorize your individual account.
4 β€‹To connect Microsoft Outlook with Gemini Enterprise – Business edition, you must have a valid Microsoft 365 license. 
5 You need to install the Google Integration from the Monday marketplace before authorizing the connector from the Gemini Enterprise UI.

Supported actions in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition

Gemini Enterprise – Business edition allows authorized and authenticated users to take specified actions with supported connectors. Select the app name below to reveal the available actions for each connector.

Supported actions for Google connectors

Google Calendar

Action

Description

Create Calendar Event

Creates an event in the calendar for the authenticated user. You can also attach documents to a calendar event.

Use comma-separated values to create an event with multiple invitees ( for example, cloudysanfrancisco@gmail.com, jeffersonloveshiking@gmail.com).

Update Calendar Events

Updates the metadata for the event in the calendar for an authenticated user.

Note: Google Calendar doesn't support file uploads and downloads in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition .  

Google Chat

Google Mail (Gmail)

Description

Send Message

Sends an email message to the user's Gmail account. You can also attach documents to the email.

Use comma-separated values to send an email message with multiple recipients ( e.g., cloudysanfrancisco@gmail.com, jeffersonloveshiking@gmail.com).
Add Label Adds a label to a given mail message.
Create Label Creates a new label.
Download Attachment Downloads the files attached to a given email message.

Note: The maximum file size for file uploads and downloads in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition is 50 MB.

Copy File

Creates a duplicate of an existing file in Box.

Upload File

Uploads a new document or file to a specific folder in Box.

Download File

Downloads a file from Box.

Note: The maximum file size for file uploads and downloads in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition is 50 MB.  

Dropbox

Copies the content of a file or folder.

Uploads a new file to a specified path within a Dropbox account.

Downloads a specific file from a Dropbox account.

Microsoft Outlook

Create Event

Creates new event in Microsoft Outlook. You can also attach documents to an event.

Download Attachment

Downloads an attachment from a Microsoft Outlook calendar event.
Reply to Mail Sends an email message.
Send Mail Sends an email message. This includes sending email with attachments.
Update Contact Updates an existing contact in Microsoft Outlook.
Update Event Updates an existing event.

Notes:  

  • To use Microsoft Outlook using Gemini Enterprise – Business edition, you must have a valid Microsoft 365 license. Without this, you cannot perform the above actions. 
  • The maximum file size for file uploads and downloads in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition is 25 MB.

Microsoft SharePoint
