How to find your Google Pixel Buds Pro | Google Pixel Buds Pro

Before you get started
- Buds must be paired with a compatible device that has Android 9 or newer, and location must be enabled.
- When you enable Location with certain settings, your device's location may also become available to other apps and services.
- On your device, open Settings.
- Tap Location.
- If you can't find Location, go to your device manufacturer's support site for help .
- Turn on Location.
- Buds need to be added to the Find My Device app . You can do this when you pair your Pixel Buds for the first time or in your settings.
- You must be the owner of the Pixel Buds Pro 2. If you purchased from a reseller or using a previously owned Buds, you need to take ownership of the device .
During set up
When you pair your Pixel Buds Pro 2 for the first time to your device, you can add your Buds to Google’s Find Hub network. Ensure you enable your location settings .
Set up from your Settings or Pixel Buds app
If you didn’t connect your Pixel Buds Pro 2 to the Find Hub app, you can turn it on from your settings or Pixel Buds app.
- On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to Settings Connected devices tap Settings by your paired Pixel Buds name.
- On other Android devices and from the Pixel Buds app:Open the Google Pixel Buds app
tap Find device Find when disconnected . Follow the on screen instructions to add your Buds to Android's Find Hub network.
You can easily locate your earbuds and charging case through the Find Hub app .
If the earbuds are outside their charging case, you'll also have the option to select the desired earbud or case that you want to find.
After you choose a piece, tap Play soundto trigger a loud chime that can help you easily find them.
You can also check the location of your case and earbuds on the map.
If an unknown device is detected together with you for an extended period, you may receive an unknown tracker alert. This will bring up options to ring, find, and disable the individual earbud or the charging case.

Bring the case near your Android or iPhone.
- Open the case to show more information on your phone's screen.
Disable tracking:
If you find a bud and a case from the unwanted tracking notification, place the bud back into the case and follow the next steps:
- Flip open the case.
- Press the button on the back of the case 5 times.
- The case LED will turn off, which indicates that it's shut down and the location is no longer shared.
- To confirm, open the case or press the back button. The LED should remain off.
Tips:
- If you charge the case with a powered USB-C cable or capable wireless charger, it turns back on and resumes location sharing.
- It’s only possible to disable the device after you receive an unknown tracker alert.

To prevent the bud from sharing your location and to protect your privacy, make sure the earbud is no longer with you.

If your Pixel Buds have been Fast Paired with a compatible Android 6.0+ device, you can use that device to help find them.
- If your Pixel Buds are still connected to your device, you can ring them .
- If they’re not connected anymore, you can find their last known location .
Important:
- There's no option to ring a misplaced charging case.
- To use this feature, Location and Location History must be enabled on the paired device.
If you’ve misplaced your Pixel Buds, but they’re still connected to your device, you can make them ring to find them easily. The ring will begin at a low volume and become progressively louder over time.
- Based on your device, you can change the settings for your earbuds in different ways:
- On a Pixel phone with Android 10+:Go to Settings Connected Devicestap Settings by your paired Pixel Buds name.
- On other Android devices:Open the Google Pixel Buds app

- Tap Find device.
- Tap Ring Leftor Ring Rightto ring either or both of your connected Pixel Buds. Earbuds must be nearby and connected to your phone to ring. The sound starts at zero volume and gradually increases over 20 seconds. Any gesture on the earbud will stop the sound immediately.
- Once you've found your Pixel Buds, you can silence them if you do any of the following:
- From the Find Device screen, tap Mute Leftor Mute Right.
- Leave the Find Device screen or lock your phone.
- Insert the earbud into the charging case. If the earbud is already in the charging case, it won’t ring anymore if you remove and reinsert it.
- If the earbuds are already in the charging case, it will also silence any inserted earbuds when you close the lid. If the charging case lid is already closed, it will silence the earbuds when you open and close it again.
- Perform a valid gesture (such as increase or decrease the volume) on the earbud.
The Find Hub makes it easier to locate the earbuds when you’ve misplaced them. 1 If you Fast Paired your Pixel Buds with a device with Android 6.0+ and that has Location and offline finding for Find Hub enabled , it'll remember the place it was last connected with your earbuds.
While this won’t give you an exact or current location, it helps you determine where to start searching. For example, you might have left the earbuds at your home or your workplace.
If you haven’t previously done so, you may be asked to consent to Find Hub Data Processing policies.
- Based on your device, you can change the settings for your earbuds in different ways:
- On a Pixel phone with Android 10+:Go to Settings Connected Devicestap Settings by your paired Pixel Buds name.
- On other Android devices:Open the Google Pixel Buds app

- Tap Find device.
- If your Pixel Buds are currently disconnected, tap Last known locationto go to Find Hub.
- Select your Pixel Buds from the list of active devices associated with your account.
- Open Find Hub Android app or Find Hub page .
- Log in to the Google account associated with your Pixel Buds.
- Select Pixel Buds
